I had a session with Regina and Troy and their two active boys yesterday at Cuthbert Holmes Park. The boys are pretty comical. Ethan was inviting everyone we met in the park to his birthday party while little Beckett had probably the coolest and most contagious laughs I’ve heard from a kid…straight from the bottom of his belly! Hard to believe we’re nearing the end of September with this fabulous weather we’ve been having. I’m heading home to Cape Breton for the month of October so here’s hoping this good weather blows East for all my sessions there!

Carinna and Ivo were married on September 6th at Providence Farm in Duncan. Ivo’s family and friends traveled from Amsterdam, while Carinna’s family came from Toronto and both families provided sing-a-long entertainment during the reception. Everyone partied and danced as the rain poured down, quite typical of a West Coast September day.

I recently spent a morning in North Saanich at the beach with Melanie, Ed, and their sweet daughter Kamryn. I had taken their family photos a little over a year ago, and they were needing some updated photos since Kamryn’s now a toddler. Wishing you all the best with the move to France!!

Jane and Luke were married on August 29th, 2009 at Poet’s Cove Resort on Pender Island. It was my first trip to the Island and I couldn’t have asked for a happier occasion. Jane and Luke live and work in Africa and their wedding was a celebration and a reunion for their family and friends, many of whom traveled a great distance to attend. A big thanks to the talented Jenna Tye who came along and shot with me on the day.
