I think it’s pretty clear that I think kids are pretty awesome. The evening before their wedding, I hung out in the backyard with Meghann and Geoff, their family, friends, and entertaining tiny-people friends.

I had a session with Sabra, Iain and their happy and adorable baby girl Ruby Janice in Point Aconi, Cape Breton Island. There’s nothing more satisfying at the end of a session with great people, to see the pouring rain start seconds after you drive away from the session. Makes you think some things are just meant to be!
Making Cookies with Gretchen

Gretchen and her mom made cookies just before I left their home. Well, maybe Gretchen just ate the dough and emptied most of the ingredients onto the countertop before any cookies made it into the oven. Still, we made cookies.
