Christine and Dave wanted to have their engagement session at their farm in Scotsburn, NS. Their farm is beautiful, so we didn’t have to go far to find great locations, and we managed to beat the downpour (for the most part). Butter-Kitty was trying to hijack the session and get in all of the shots, but I suppose when you know you’re that cute, you deserve to have your photo taken! Happy farming Christine and Dave!

A few images from my windy session yesterday with Christine and Dave at their farm in Meadowville, Pictou County. I really wanted to take that little kitten home, but I resisted.

This evening I had an engagement session with Jerry and Juliana – two Cape Bretoners from New Waterford. They wanted a fellow Cape Bretoner to take their engagement photos before they returned back to Cape Breton after living here in Victoria. Just a preview…more to come down the road (and this session has me so excited to head home in two weeks!).

It was a rainy night in Toronto’s Distillery District on my last night in the city. I met Charles a few days prior on the golf course while I was documenting James Munro for the Magnum Workshop. Charles was recently engaged to Elena and was looking for a photographer for some engagement portraits, so we arranged a session in the city. As I traveled from Ajax to Toronto it started pouring, and I was drenched by the time I walked to the Distillery District. The weather cleared up a bit during our session, and Charles and Elena were ready for anything…and the chilly damp weather made for a good excuse to snuggle!
