Krista and Daryl were married on Saturday at the Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC. It was a fun wedding with lots of characters and familiar faces! More to come down the road.

Before their show on Saturday evening, I had part B of a session with local gypsy-jazz ensemble, Brishen. They’ll be playing some gigs around the city over the summer (especially around Jazz Fest) so be sure to head to a concert for a listen!

Mac Morin – Cape Breton Pianist
When it comes to Cape Breton pianists (and stepdancers), Mac Morin is the bee’s knees. He was on the West Coast touring with Natalie MacMaster and his schedule allowed for a half day of photos before their concert in Nanaimo. It’s been a while since his last album came out, so it’s great to hear that some new projects are in the works! We’re going to do more photos down the road, likely in another city where our schedules collide.
