It was two years to the day that I had my last session with The Fretless. When we met for our session that day, the group had just formed and was preparing to go into the studio to record their first album. At that time, I asked them to play something and they didn’t really know or have anything to play together since they had only come together the evening before…they didn’t even have a name picked out for their group. Fast forward to our session in November of 2013, and I was hearing an entirely different and multi award-winning group. Their new album will be released in Victoria BC in February, so stay tuned to their Facebook page for all of the details! I’ve already been lucky enough to hear the new album, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it to listen again…so good!!! It will definitely be a party not to miss!
