Sherisse and Joel were married in Newfoundland in May. We made plans to go for some wedding portraits on a sailboat, however when the fog and rain in the morning caused the captain to pull the plug on our plans, we quickly made a plan B. Sherisse and Joel laughed throughout their entire session and even patiently posed for all the cruise ship tourists on the breakwater asking to take their photos. Talk about a fun couple! Joel, you did well marrying a Newfoundlander….you’ll never have a dull moment for the rest of your life! Congratulations!

Stephen and Paula were married on March 20th and wanted to use Fort Rodd Hill as the backdrop for their portraits. Back in January, when I shot their engagement session, we went to the little lighthouse at the end of the breakwater, so the big lighthouse at Fort Rodd Hill tied everything together on their big day. Congratulations Stephen and Paula!

Jocelyn and Jason were married on September 19th at Glendale Gardens. At our first meeting, Jocelyn’s little boy Jordan plopped his red fireman hat on top of my head as I spoke with the couple about their upcoming wedding….it really must have been a sight to see! Since Jason is a fireman, the boys from the station drove the firetruck over for a few photos before the ceremony, while the girls took a rather ‘thrilling drive’ to the gardens. It’s obvious when you’re in the company of these two how much they adore each other and because of that, they made my job very easy.
