Kyleigh and Nick wanted their session in their new house, which was good because we were dealing with a typical on-and-off soggy November day on the West Coast. I could’ve shot in their home for hours, but toward the end of the session the sun came so we went to the beach. You take the sunshine while you can find it here in Victoria at this time of the year! Caro and Trevor drove all the way from New Brunswick to meet me in Cape Breton for their engagement session. Caro is a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Moncton, so it’s pretty special when a fellow photographer chooses you to be their wedding photographer (she blogged about their session and decision HERE). We laughed a pile during their session…can’t wait for their wedding this summer!

I had a session with Laura and Jim around the Halifax Waterfront in August. We were supposed to have a session during my East Coast trip last year, but ended up getting rained out on our scheduled date and had to postpone. It was definitely worth the wait!
