I had a session yesterday evening with local photographer Jesse Holland and her husband Kevin, just a few weeks away from the delivery of their first baby. Figured I’d best get a couple up now in case she arrives before I’m back from shooting a wedding in Toronto this week. A couple now, more down the road.

Andrew, Kirsty and Ella spent a morning with me during their visit from Glasgow. They’ve been taking Ella on a bit of a cross-Canada tour to introduce her to all of their relatives and friends. It’s always a treat to be able to hang out with the Lawsons, and it’s a bonus to do that at a time other than the busy week of the World Pipe Band Championships! The last time we spent a good chunk of time together was on their wedding day a couple of years ago! We began the session at home where we witnessed Ella’s first ever ‘pouty lip’…nice that we were able to document it for her! Looking forward to seeing the Lawsons (hopefully) in Glasgow during July and getting a few more snuggles from Ella.

The MacInnis Girls – Cape Breton Family Session
I had a session with Amy and her sweet little girl Aven while home on the North Shore. Amy’s little sister Jenessa was home for the summer so she came along for the session so we could get some photos as anniversary presents for their folks. Aven was calling me ‘Big Eye’ during the session because apparently the camera looked like a big winking eye. It’s hard to believe I used to babysit these girls…
